Cuba, 1957. Seventeen-year old Maggie Martinez is looking forward to a summer of fun before starting law school in the fall.  The last thing she expects is to get caught up in a revolution.

First, she falls for the charms of a handsome bartender named Roberto Acosta.  After a few dates, it’s clear that they are in for more than a summer fling.  Meanwhile, Cuba’s revolutionary along with Roberto and Maggie’s budding love.  After a savage encounter with Batista’s police force, Roberto joins the revolution, shrouding their relationship in danger and uncertainty.

¿Puede el amor sobrevivir la turbulencia de la Revolución cubana?

En Cuba de 1957, Maggie Martínez planeaba pasarse el verano divirtiéndose con sus amigos antes de ingresar en la Facultad de Leyes en La Habana. Ese verano conoce a Roberto, un barman en el club campestre del cual Maggie se enamora. Roberto sufre una golpiza a manos de los matones de Batista y toma la decisión de unirse a la revolución.
