Carefree, seventeen-year-old Maggie is enjoying the summer of 1957 before she goes off to law school.  She leads a privileged life and is blissfully unaware of the changes coming to Cuba.   What did she care about Batista, Fidel, or the revolution!  At the Camagüey Country Club, she meets Roberto, a handsome bartender.  Roberto came to Cuba from Brazil to earn money to marry his girlfriend.  Impulsive Maggie falls in love instantly but as their friendship blossoms into love, they are forced to face the frightening realities of the revolution.  When Roberto suffers a beating at the hands of Batista’s goons he decides to join the revolution.  Will their love survive the turbulent days of the Cuban Revolution?
